The second season of the Bungo Stray Dogs TV anime will premiere this autumn (2016). A new visual featuring the characters for the new season has been published at the anime’s official webpage.
The official webpage has also updated its character gallery with new pictures of characters Mori Ougai (first picture), Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald (second picture) and Lucy Maud Montgomery (third picture) which were introduced in the last epsidoes of season one (see below).
The Bungo Stray Dogs TV anime is created by studio Bones and it is based on the manga with the same name written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa which has been published since 2012.
Bungo Stray Dogs tells the story of Atsushi Nakajima that joins the Armed Detective Agency, an organization recruiting individuals with super natural powers, that tries to keep order in the city – dealing with both the Port Mafia and the problematic Fellowship of the Guild. Many of the characters in the story is based on famous japanese authors such as Ryounosuke Akutagawa, Osamu Dazai, Rampo Edogawa, Kenji Miyazawa, Doppo Kunikida and Akiko Yosano.
